Acceptance & Scope of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Glimpse mobile application (“App”) developed for Apple iOS devices. By downloading, installing, or accessing Glimpse, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Glimpse is a local, on-device productivity utility designed to index and search photos in your device's camera roll using offline machine learning models.
User Photo Ownership & Privacy
You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all photos, videos, albums, and visual media on your device.
- Glimpse does not claim any intellectual property rights or ownership of your content.
- All photo analysis, vector embedding generation, and query processing occur entirely offline on your local hardware.
- No copies or derivatives of your photos are ever uploaded to Glimpse servers or transmitted over the internet.
Glimpse Pro, Licenses & Account Verification
Glimpse offers a free tier (indexing up to 500 photos) and optional paid upgrades (Glimpse Pro Monthly, Glimpse Pro Annual, and Glimpse Lifetime License).
Account Creation for Pro Verification
When purchasing or activating a Pro license, an account identifier (e.g., Apple ID relay or email) is created solely to authenticate your purchase receipt across your devices and prevent license fraud. We record your last login timestamp only to verify your active subscriber status. No photo or query data is ever linked to your account.
In-App Purchases & Billing
All financial transactions, currency conversions, and recurring subscriptions are processed securely through Apple App Store In-App Purchases. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle in your iOS Settings.
Refunds & Apple Media Services
Because payments are processed through Apple, refunds are governed directly by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. To request a refund, please submit your request to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Glimpse developers do not possess the ability to issue refunds directly or access your payment card numbers.
Device Compatibility & Performance
Glimpse executes AI models on your phone hardware. While Glimpse is engineered to run on iOS 16 and above, optimal search speeds and indexing rates depend on your device's Apple Neural Engine (iPhone 11 or newer recommended). During the initial one-time photo indexing process, keeping your phone plugged in is advised for libraries with over 5,000 photos.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitations
Glimpse is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While our semantic models strive for high accuracy, we do not warrant that all photo searches will yield perfect results for every query or image quality. In no event shall Glimpse or its creators be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
